Drain and Clean:
Prior to draining, Aqua Pro technician’s start by adding a product called Spa Flush to the water in order to flush out jet lines, plumbing, and equipiment to rid them of mineral build-up and anything else that might be “growing” in there. Then, we drain the spa, clean the surface as well as the top and bottom of the spa cover, treat the spa cover with a UV protectant, thoroughly clean or replace the filter, clean all pillows, diverter handles and jets, then re-fill, start and program your controls to your liking. Wah-la! Now you can enjoy your sparkling clean hot tub!
Winter Tune-up:
In addition to a “Drain and Clean”, our technicians perform a detailed equipment inspection, i.e. lube o-rings, check pump operation, test heating elements and ozone operation. Heading into Winter, it is important to make sure that your system works properly to avoid potentially costly repairs or a frozen spa should a pump go out, a leak develops or a heater needs to be replaced. A little preventative maintenance in the Fall, can keep you enjoying hot water all Winter long.
Spa Closing and Winterization
We highly recommend that should you wish to close your spa, you should hire us to do it. There are several adjustments that need to be made to the spa equipment to make sure that there is absolutley no water in the spa to avoid freeze damage. Ask us about installing plywood and tarp over the spa cover to protect from snow load when you call to schedule your service, because we can do that too.
Spa Opening
Upon opening your spa, we will need to re-assemble the spa equipment, fill and start it. We also clean and treat the spa cover with a UV protectant, program your filter cycles and set your water temperature so that you don’t have to.
